Getting Started with Online Registration

We’re excited to have you register with Henry County School System! Before you begin, please make sure you have the following documents ready to upload:

Required Documents:

  • Student’s birth certificate or other proof of identity

  • Current immunization record

  • Two proofs of residence, such as:

    • Rental or lease agreement

    • Current utility bill

    • Property tax statement

  • Proof of custody (if applicable)

Tip: For the best experience, we recommend using a desktop or laptop computer rather than a smartphone.

Important: If your child has attended a Henry County school at any time in the past, they are considered a returning student, not a new student.

What Happens After I Register?

Once you submit your registration:

  • A school registrar will review your information

  • You’ll be contacted if anything is missing or needs to be corrected

  • D & N Harrelson Elementary School

  • Henry Elementary School

  • Lakewood Elementary School

  • W.O. Inman Middle School

To create your account, you’ll need an activation key. You can get one by:

Calling your child's school:

  • E.W. Grove School, 731-642-5232

  • Henry County High School,

  • 731-642-5232

Emailing the Director of Student Management at kibblerd@henryk12.net (Please include your child’s full name and school of enrollment)

Once you have your activation key:

  1. Go to the ParentVUE login page

  2. Click “More Options”

  3. Select “Activate Account.”

Each Henry County school offers registration kiosks for families.

To use one, simply call your child’s school to schedule a convenient time—we’re happy to assist you every step of the way.

Important: Please have your child continue attending their current school until you receive approval for the transfer request.

2026–2027 School Year

We’re excited to welcome you and your family!

To make things easier for families, we offer a simple online registration process. This helps reduce paperwork and saves time at the beginning of the school year.

Who is a “Current Student”?

Your child is considered a current student if they:

  • Were enrolled in a Henry County School during the 2025–2026 school year, and

  • Completed the school year in our district

Also included as current students:

  • Incoming 9th-grade students from:

    • Dorothy and Noble Harrelson Elementary School

    • Henry Elementary School

    • Lakewood Elementary School

    • W.O. Inman Middle School (transitioning to E.W. Grove School)

Who is a “Returning Student”?

A returning student is a student who:

  • Previously attended a Henry County School, but did not complete the most recent school year in our district

Example:
A student who attended Henry County Schools in kindergarten, then transferred to another district for several years, and is now coming back would be considered a returning student.

What is Online Registration?

Online registration allows parents and guardians to complete the enrollment process from home for:

  • Current students

  • Returning students

  • New students joining Henry County Schools

Open Enrollment

Open Enrollment Opportunities

Henry County School System offers an open enrollment period, giving families the option to request a school outside of their assigned zone—as long as space is available at that school.

Please note:
Parents/guardians are responsible for providing transportation to and from the selected school.
