Paris, TN — At the September School Board meeting, students from Diane McCord’s Criminal Justice Club shared an overview of their organization and the many ways they serve the community. The students explained how their participation helps them learn about criminal law and the justice system while also giving back through events such as Spooktacular, volunteering at the Animal Shelter, and the Cops and Kids program.

Board Chair Russ Orr praised the group, stating how proud and impressed he was with their dedication and community involvement.

The Board also heard from CTE Director Betsy Allison, who provided an update on the wide variety of Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs available to students at Grove School and Henry County High School.
