PARIS, TN – The Henry County Middle School Speech Team showcased outstanding talent and dedication this past weekend, winning a 2nd place overall finish out of seven competing middle schools at the Krider Invitational Speech Tournament. The tournament was hosted by Henry County High School.

The team, coached by Mr. David Weatherly, saw several students place in the top ranks across a variety of speech and acting events, contributing valuable points toward the overall team score. "I am incredibly proud of the hard work and commitment these students demonstrated," said Coach Weatherly. "Their success is a testament to the hours they put into practice and their willingness to perform under pressure. Placing second against strong competition is a fantastic achievement for our team."
